Privacy Policy

This page explains what data TableAI collects, why, and what happens to it. Plain English, no lawyer-speak. If anything reads unclear, email hi@usetableai.comand we'll rewrite it.

TableAI is run by Tek Mundo Solutions.

1. What we collect

Things you tell us directly

• Restaurant name, city, country, timezone, currency, cuisine
• WhatsApp phone number and (optionally) email address
• Daily sales figures, inventory items, staff records, attendance
• The messages you send us on WhatsApp — and our replies
• Your settings (briefing tone, briefing time, notification preferences)

Things collected automatically

• IP address, browser and device type (through our hosting)
• Website page views (through Google Analytics)
• Session cookies (so you stay logged in on the dashboard)

2. How we use it

• To actually run the service — track your data, send your morning briefing
• To generate AI replies to your WhatsApp messages (via Anthropic's Claude)
• To deliver those replies via Twilio
• To email you login links when you request dashboard access
• To look at anonymised usage patterns and figure out what's working
• To reply when you email us
• To comply with the law if we're required to

We don't sell your data.We don't hand it to advertisers. We don't use it to train AI models. Your restaurant's numbers are yours.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of third parties to actually run the product:

• Supabase — database and authentication (data hosted in the US)
• Anthropic — AI that reads your messages and writes your briefings (Claude, US)
• Twilio — WhatsApp message delivery (US)
• Railway — where our servers run
• Google Analytics — website traffic stats (you can disable via browser)

These providers can only use your data to do the job we hired them for. They can't use it for anything else. We don't share your data with anyone else unless a court in a jurisdiction we operate in orders us to.

4. Where your data lives

Your data sits in Supabase's US data centres. When you send a WhatsApp message, it also passes through Twilio (US) and Anthropic (US) before we reply.

If you're somewhere with strict data-residency rules (some EU jurisdictions, some Middle East countries), know that your data crosses borders when you use TableAI. By signing up, you're OK with that.

5. How long we keep it

• Restaurant, sales, inventory, staff: as long as your account is active. Delete your account and we remove it within 30 days.
• WhatsApp conversation history: as long as your account is active (Claude needs it for context)
• Past morning briefings: as long as your account is active (so you can look them up)
• Website analytics: 14 months (Google Analytics default), auto-deleted after
• Provider backups: may persist up to 90 days after account deletion

6. Your rights

Regardless of where you live:

• Access — get a copy of what we hold about you
• Correct — tell us to fix anything wrong
• Delete — tell us to erase your account and data
• Export — get your data in a portable format
• Object — tell us to stop using it for a specific purpose
• Withdraw consent — where we process based on consent, take it back anytime

7. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data — HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage in Supabase, access controls on production systems.

But no online service is bulletproof. We can't guarantee perfect security, and you use TableAI at your own risk. If we discover a breach that affects your data, we'll notify you within 72 hours where required by law.

8. Children

TableAI is a business tool, not for kids. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, tell us and we'll delete it.

9. Cookies

Two types:

• Essential: needed for login and sessions. Can't turn these off if you want to use the dashboard.
• Analytics: Google Analytics tracks page views. Disable via a browser opt-out extension or Do Not Track settings.

10. Changes to this policy

We might update this from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll notify you via WhatsApp or email before it takes effect. The date up top tells you when it was last updated.
